Video, with a marketing mindset.

What does that mean? It means that from the moment we receive a video creation brief, we are thinking about how to market it.

It’s all fair-and-well creating stunning video content, but without targeted distribution, it’s simply not going to deliver your marketing goals. Let’s take a look at our process.

When you first make contact with Getgo, we’ll gather a detailed brief. Key to that is a series of questions, such as:

  • Who’s the audience for your video?
  • What part of the marketing funnel is it for?
  • How will you distribute it?
  • What does success look like?

If you don’t have the answers, we help you get to them. If you then need us to create a video marketing strategy and deliver the tactics, then we’ve got you covered. Got a team? No problem, we’ll leave that up to you.

In terms of the video, we naturally need to find out the who, what, where and when so we can deliver you a quote and get cracking with the next stage.

This is the logistical phase. Getgo can work anywhere across the globe, so if travel is required, we get on the case with that.

People are a key aspect of this phase – who needs to be involved in your video, where are they, when can they be filmed and so on. We’ll also help everyone involved prepare for appearing on camera.

During pre-production we will nail down your storyboard, shot-list and work our creative magic to ensure everything is captured during shooting. Next? Action!

We use a variety of camera, light and sound gear to ensure we have the right tools for the job. No matter where we need to shoot, we can make it happen. If aerial shots are required, then we can deploy fully licensed drone pilots to capture the birds-eye view.

During shooting, as a bare minimum, your crew will include a producer/director and a lead camera operator. Getgo uses a pool of amazing freelance talent to build the right team for the job.

If you are allowing a video crew into your business, it can be disruptive – we pride ourselves on keeping this to a minimum and being mindful of the fact your day-to-day operations can’t stop.

Once filming is wrapped, it’s time for the edit. For each edit we create a ‘hero’ version – this is the long version of your video, that you may use on your website or YouTube for example.

We also supply shorter versions, matched to your marketing needs – this may be the perfect 60 second version for Instagram or a series of bumper ads for YouTube for example.

All videos are supplied with licensed soundtrack, on-screen titles and captions/subtitles. We also offer motion graphics which can add a real edge to your video.

Once all edits are agreed, we finalise and supply them to you. If you have decided to have Getgo handle your video marketing, we’ll get get cracking with that.
